It feels really good, this case does. And it looks good, too. Sleek, stylish, a hint of sophistication and smarts; this hard-shell case with matte soft-touch coating becomes even more impressive if you match the fabric-backed panel to your outfit, scarf, or tie.

Speck left openings for all connections and buttons on the Apple phone as any well made iPhone 4 case should.

Installation involves placing the iPhone 4 onto the back half of the case and then placing the front of the case onto the bottom half and snapping it into place. Start from one corner and work your way around the phone to close the Fitted. Obviously make sure you position the iPhone 4 properly into the case and that both sides of the case are in line before snapping it shut.

The Speck Fitted Case for iPhone 4 is a solidly constructed case with a larger pattern selection than prior Fitted case launches.

Since it is a hard shell case, the iPhone 4 is better protected than the silicone case alternatives. It is light weight and well constructed making it an excellent iPhone case.

Speck iPad Case Review

Speck’s iPad case follows on from their Fitted Case range for Apple’s smaller mobile devices, the iPhone and iPod touch. Basically they’re a hard plastic shell covered in a fabric finish; there are various patterns available.

Fitting the case is straightforward: the bezel and frame snaps off so that you can slot the iPad in-between it and the back panel. There are broad cut-outs for the dock connector and speaker along the bottom edge, together with the volume and orientation-lock switch on the side and the lock button and headphone socket on the top.

The case itself is well constructed, that features all of the necessary pass-throughs and button extensions to maintain full functionality of the iPad, including the built-in speaker, headphone jack, orientation lock switch, power button, and volume controls.
